Gordon Rae stepped into the breach, once again, and organised a photographic competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KathleenBird  LRPS, CPAGB, and past chairman of Ludshott PC kindly agreed to be the judge for this competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kathleen was impressed by the number of members who had entered and by the wide range of interpretations of the theme \u2018It looks like Spring\u2019.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-red-color\">First place<\/span><\/strong> \u2018My Garden\u2019 by Carol Wass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/grayshottgardeners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/My-Garden-Carol-Wass.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5036\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grayshottgardeners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/My-Garden-Carol-Wass.jpg 640w, https:\/\/grayshottgardeners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/My-Garden-Carol-Wass-300x183.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Judge said that this totally filled the brief with Spring colour. Well balanced and the cock&nbsp;pheasant made it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-red-color\">Second Place<\/span><\/strong> \u2018It Looks Like Spring\u2019 by Liz Munson<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"481\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/grayshottgardeners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/It-looks-like-Spring-Liz-Munson.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5038\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grayshottgardeners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/It-looks-like-Spring-Liz-Munson.jpg 481w, https:\/\/grayshottgardeners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/It-looks-like-Spring-Liz-Munson-245x300.jpg 245w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 481px) 100vw, 481px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kathleen loved the soft colours offprint, soft Spring blossom and blue sky and the smiling face which added some \u2018happiness\u2019 to the photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-red-color\">Third place<\/span><\/strong> \u2018Spring Colour\u2019 by Alex Anderson<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"427\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/grayshottgardeners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Spring-Colour-Alex-Anderson.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5040\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grayshottgardeners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Spring-Colour-Alex-Anderson.jpg 427w, https:\/\/grayshottgardeners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Spring-Colour-Alex-Anderson-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 427px) 100vw, 427px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An imaginative interpretation of the brief. The repetition of red and yellow across the photo was well seen by the photographer. The single figure added further interest to the photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-red-color\">Highly commended<\/span><\/strong> \u2018Spring Iris\u2019 by Sue Wheeler<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/grayshottgardeners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Spring-Iris-Sue-Wheeler.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5042\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grayshottgardeners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Spring-Iris-Sue-Wheeler.jpg 640w, https:\/\/grayshottgardeners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Spring-Iris-Sue-Wheeler-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gorgeous colour which just shouted \u2018Spring\u201d!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had asked for a touch of humour if possible.
